Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP)

A UK-registered pension wrapper for individuals who want greater control, flexibility, and transparency over their retirement savings — delivered through a modern, execution-only platform.

The Invinitive SIPP is designed for clients and advisers who wish to manage investments directly, without receiving regulated financial advice. All investing is carried out strictly on an execution-only basis.

Regulatory update

Invinitive Financial UK Ltd has voluntarily agreed to certain temporary restrictions with the Financial Conduct Authority while the Firm undertakes a review of its financial crime systems, processes and controls.

During this period, the Firm is restricted from:

  • Accepting new contributions into any product

New Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) clients may be onboarded where the pension is funded exclusively through transfers from existing pension arrangements and does not involve any new contribution monies.

A Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) is a long-term retirement structure established under UK pension legislation. It allows individuals to hold a broad range of permitted investments within a tax-advantaged wrapper and to manage those investments either themselves or with the support of an adviser.

SIPPs are commonly used by individuals who want more choice than traditional workplace or insured personal pensions provide, or who wish to consolidate multiple pension arrangements into a single, easy-to-manage account.

Execution-Only by Design

Invinitive operates exclusively on an execution-only basis. We do not provide financial advice, personal recommendations, or suitability assessments.

Clients and advisers remain responsible for determining:

Whether a SIPP is appropriate
What to transfer
What investments to hold
When to buy or sell

This model ensures transparency, client control, and freedom of choice.

What You Can Hold in an Invinitive SIPP

An Invinitive SIPP is designed to support globally diversified, long-term portfolios using mainstream permitted investments.

You can hold a wide range of assets, including:

UK, US and European listed shares
UK, US and European ETFs
A broad universe of mutual funds from leading global fund managers
Bonds and gilts
Cash

Your SIPP supports seven base currencies:

GBP (British Pound)
USD (US Dollar)
EUR (Euro)
AED (UAE Dirham)
AUD (Australian Dollar)
CAD (Canadian Dollar)
CHF (Swiss Franc)

This allows clients to hold cash and settle investments in the currency most appropriate to their circumstances, helping reduce unnecessary FX conversions.

All investments are executed strictly at your instruction on an execution-only basis.

Transfers and Onboarding

We support both cash and in-specie pension transfers. Invinitive is also part of the Origo Transfer Service community, which can help support eligible electronic cash transfers where both schemes are set up to use Origo. Some transfers remain manual and timescales vary accordingly. Once a transfer is initiated, we coordinate directly with your existing provider and keep you informed throughout the process.

Two SIPP Pathways at Invinitive

Invinitive supports two client journeys under the same UK-registered SIPP structure:

UK Resident SIPP

For individuals living in the UK who want a modern, digital SIPP for consolidation, long-term investing, and retirement planning.

View UK SIPP

International / Expat SIPP (iSIPP)

For individuals living outside the UK who wish to retain and manage their existing UK pension assets within a UK regulatory framework.

View International SIPP

Both remain UK SIPPs. The difference relates to residency, onboarding, and ongoing administration — not to the legal nature of the pension.
