UK Advisers

Execution-only pension and investment administration for UK-authorised advisers

Invinitive supports UK-authorised advisory firms with a modern, execution-only platform for administering pensions and investment accounts for UK-resident and internationally mobile clients.

Our role is to provide the regulated platform, custody and administration, allowing advisers to focus on advice, suitability and client relationships.

Who this is for

We work with UK-authorised advisers who:

Advise retail or professional clients
Require a flexible SIPP, ISA or Investment Account solution
Value transparent pricing and open-architecture investment access
Want a responsive, operationally strong platform partner

Invinitive does not provide investment advice or discretionary management. Advisers retain full responsibility for suitability and investment decisions.

Supported products

UK advisers can use the Invinitive platform to administer:

Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs)
Stocks & Shares ISAs
General Investment Accounts (GIAs)

All wrappers are administered within a clearly defined UK regulatory and operational framework.

Platform capabilities for UK advisers

Execution-only dealing
Open-architecture investment universe
Digital onboarding and administration
Transparent, published fee structures
Real-time pricing and reporting
Support for cash and in-specie transfers (where applicable)

The platform is designed to integrate cleanly into existing advice processes without imposing model portfolios or investment constraints.

Governance & regulatory alignment

Invinitive operates within the UK regulatory framework and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Our governance-led approach includes:

•Defined asset eligibility criteria
•Standard-asset investment universe
•Documented onboarding and transfer processes
•Clear audit trails and record-keeping

This structure is intended to support advisers' own compliance and oversight requirements.

Investment universe & asset access

Invinitive provides advisers with access to a broad, open-architecture investment universe that is deliberately focused on FCA-permitted, standard investments, administered within a clearly defined governance and eligibility framework.

We do not support non-standard, unregulated or exotic asset types.

Supported asset types (permitted investments only)

Advisers and their clients can invest in FCA-permitted, standard assets, including:

•UK equities listed on recognised exchanges
•US equities, including NYSE and NASDAQ listings
•European equities across major EU markets
•Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) traded on recognised exchanges
•Mutual funds / OEICs, where available on the platform

All investments available on the platform:

•Are exchange-traded or regulated collective investment schemes
•Fall within the FCA's definition of standard / permitted assets
•Are subject to ongoing eligibility, governance and operational controls

Invinitive does not permit investments that would be classed as non-standard, unregulated or taxable property within a SIPP or investment wrapper.

Multi-currency investing & FX

The Invinitive platform supports multi-currency investing across up to 8 currencies, allowing advisers to support globally diversified portfolios while maintaining operational clarity.

Currency capabilities include:

•Holding cash balances in up to 8 currencies
•Buying and selling investments in their native trading currency
•Avoiding unnecessary FX conversions
•Managing currency exposure more efficiently

Foreign exchange (FX)

FX transactions are executed at the prevailing spot rate
No additional FX markup is applied by Invinitive
Currency conversion occurs only where required

This approach supports transparent pricing and efficient cross-border investing.

Portfolio construction flexibility

Invinitive is designed to support a wide range of adviser investment models while maintaining clear regulatory boundaries.

Adviser-created model portfolios

Advisers may:

•Create and maintain their own model portfolios
•Apply models consistently across multiple client accounts
•Retain full responsibility for portfolio design, rebalancing and oversight

Invinitive does not design, recommend or manage model portfolios.

Third-party Model Portfolio Services (MPS)

Where appropriate, the platform supports the use of third-party Model Portfolio Services, subject to onboarding and eligibility requirements.

•Models are implemented on an execution-only basis
•Advisers retain responsibility for selection, suitability and monitoring
•Invinitive provides platform administration and execution

Discretionary Fund Managers (DFMs)

Invinitive can facilitate the appointment of third-party Discretionary Fund Managers, where required.

•DFMs operate under their own FCA permissions
•Investment discretion rests solely with the appointed DFM
•Invinitive provides custody, administration and reporting

Clear separation of responsibilities

Invinitive's operating model maintains a clear separation between:

•Platform administration and execution (Invinitive)
•Advice and suitability (the adviser)
•Discretionary management, where appointed (DFM)

This separation supports advisers in meeting regulatory obligations while preserving flexibility in portfolio construction and client servicing.
